Account & Sales Representative

Job Description:

  • Develop relationships with clients and to convert submitted quotes to client purchase orders.
  • Establish whether existing clients are happy with the quality of completed work and the overall service.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Managing Director to develop strategies for generating new leads.
  • Represent the Company, promoting our products and services and providing a first-class service.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Drive quote conversions by making daily calls and sending emails to clients to establish if they would like to book works, we have quoted for.
  • Introductory calls to new clients to establish if we can quote from photos and information provided.
  • Arrange site surveys with new clients where we cannot quote from photos.
  • Build relationships with new clients by providing a timely response and providing excellent customer service.
  • Calls to existing clients to chase for purchase order on accepted quotes
  • Calls to existing clients to invite them to corporate hospitality events.
  • Keep in regular contact with clients and respond to any queries or problems that they might have by filtering them out to the correct department to resolve.
  • Maintain and develop client relations to gain more work on new and existing sites.
  • Manage existing client relationships and expectations.
  • Work with Marketing Manager on ideas for email marketing campaigns and entries to industry awards.
  • Identify potential new leads supported by Marketing activity.
  • Ensure all sales and business development activity is recorded on CRM system.
  • Work with Business Growth team to ensure best possible customer experience.
  • Attend and network at industry and corporate hospitality events.

Knowledge

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Confident talking to people at all levels within an organisation and building relationships.
  • Experience as a Sales or Customer Services professional or similar role
  • Proven Negotiator
  • An excellent Organiser and comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Experience with managing and developing customer relationships
  • High attention to detail, ensuring all work is finished to the highest standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in dealing with clients, colleagues and management
  • Persuasive and self-confident
